FLOOD is the title of Bluba Lu's seventh album, conceived, recorded and produced by the band and British producer/composer Eddie Stevens. Eddie is well known as "Moloko's keyboardist" and has also been in Zero 7, Roisin Murphy's solo band and Freakpower. Over the last few years he has mostly been busy producing bands from Eastern Europe, as he feels the region has a massive potential of fresh artistic energy.

FLOOD, the album, was created and recorded in Bluba Lu's studio in Sofia and Eddie's London studio between 2010 and 2012. It's the end product stemming from a number of studio sessions, hundreds of nocturnal studio adventures and many long and indecipherable emails.

The music within FLOOD is eclectic, deep-water music, ironic at times and then thoughtfully contemplative.FLOOD is a "programme" album. The music is intertwined with the film's plot, a huge part of which is presented via the music and the music only.

Most pieces are 7-8 minutes long, with unconventional dynamics and gradation. Water-colour techniquesare employed in the mixing of electronic and acoustic tracks, recorded by Eddie in the most unthinkable ways. Funk, soul, ambient and electronica blend together in a spectacular, inimitable opus.FLOOD is the epitome of 21st century classical music.
